The International Conference on Air Pollution, Perspective, Prediction, Prevention and Control was jointly organised by Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR) and Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT) of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).
The International conference was held to share information about policy, strategy option, regulatory mechanisms, and good practices to tackle PM 2.5 problem and to explore and learn existing practices and technologies for prediction, prevention, and control.
National focal points of APCTT; representatives from Government, academia, industries and other agencies/institutions; and experts from energy associations, relevant stakeholders from participating member States of the Asia Pacific region and ASEAN region attended the conference.
