Self-Propelled Self-Loading Mixers
INNOVATIVE SELF-PROPELLED SELF-LOADING MIXERS FOR LIVESTOCK FEEDING: Israeli company offers innovative mixer feeders for livestock of three types: tractor pulled, stationary and self-propelled self-loading. This company which developed in the 1980s the unique concept of the horizontal self-propelled self-loading mixer has now completed the development and manufacture of a vertical self-propelled self-loading mixer feeder. The company's accumulated experience of the specific requirements of dairy farmers in Israel and worldwide, combined with the latest technology, is expressed in its line of small, medium and large vertical mixer feeders ranging in size of capacity from 4 cu.m. to 22 cu.m. Special attention has been concentrated on the quality of the mixing, speed of chopping, collection of feed components, the ability to process all types of available feed, the comfort of the operator, upkeep costs and on-going maintenance. The mixer feeder is equipped with either a water-cooled or air-cooled engine. Traveling speed is up to 40 kp/h, often on difficult terrain. The mixer feeder has four springs for easy and comfortable traveling. The vertical self-propelled self-loading mixer feeders complete the line of horizontal self-propelled self-loading mixer feeders, offering customers a wide choice of machines to meet their every need. The D.L.G. (German Association for Agriculture) has tested and approved the machinery. PRODUCTION CAPACITY: Small machines: 4/6/8/10 cu.m.; large machines: 12/17/20/22 cu.m. COMMERCIALIZED: Thousand machines of horizontal series have been sold worldwide. The first series of vertical machines have been sold at the Israeli market since 1996 and exported since 1997. in Israel and other countries, including Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Kazakstan, Mexico, Netherlands, Russia, Romania, South Africa, and Spain. Advantages: Complete line of mixer feeders: the company is the only one in the world that can offer a complete line of cattle feeding mixers of horizontal and vertical technology; High mixing quality: based on the D.L.G. results, the machines were allocated the highest grade for mixing quality with 1-3% true loading weight, considered to be the best. The machines can effectively process round bales as well as square bales; Low power consumption: the power consumption is very low and is below average of food compound wagons that were tested by 33%. The results of a RMH 580 mixer are as follows (for 4,830 kg of hay/grass food ingredients): consumption - 46 kWt; specific consumption - 9.2 kWt (RMH), 13.8 kWt (group average); Low maintenance expenses: based on the D.L.G. report, the machines are allocated the highest performance grades for low maintenance expenses; the machines were also allocated the highest grades for other maintenance parameters such as labor hours and accessibility; Anti-wear steel bottom: all horizontal mixers have a special anti-wear 3 CR-12 steel bottom with the following features: anti-corrosive, anti-rust, more resistant than any other currently used material. The main cause of erosion is due to rust. Mixer feeders collect rust during the night which comes off during work. The company's special material can last more that 10 years; Innovative mixing system: option of continuous (regular) or non-continuous (N.C.) augers. The N.C. augers, combined with about 200 knoves on the top and bottom augers, make the horizontal mixer very aggressive and very fast on chopping and mixing round bales and long fiber materials. The N.C. augers create a fresher and fluffier mix that any other regular horizontal mixer with continuous augers. The two top augers rotate in opposite directions one against the other while the bottom augers rotate in the same direction. This rotating system eliminates "dead" spots in the mixing chamber. High efficiency: effective mixing capacity of R.M.H. mixers is about 95% of the machine's capacity compared with 80-85% in case of regular horizontal trailer. Thus, the customer can load about 15% more feed in an R.M.H. mixer feeder than in any other horizontal mixer; Mixers can be supplied with standard P.T.O. shaft or with a wide angle P.T.O. according to the needs of customer. A wide angle P.T.O. enables the customer to operate the mixer feeder while the tractor is towing the mixer; Own hydraulic system: there are tractor pulled mixers with their own hydraulic systems (hydraulic pump). These mixers do not use the tractor's hydraulic system but use the power from the tractor's P.T.O. As every tractor has its own hydraulic system it is not necessary to build an external one that requires extra energy and power. The company's trailers use the tractor's hydraulic system, therefore utilizing less energy as compared to other mixers with independent system; Loading from rear: all horizontal trailers have the option of loading the machine from the rear through a special opening. This option is effective where there is a shortage of front loaders or where the labor cost is very low.
