Engraving Machine Using Facsimile Copying (Russian Federation)
Russian company offers technology for engraving images on stone, glass, plastics, or metal. The images are copied from a paper carrier (photos, sketches, inscriptions, etc.) by an in-built facsimile equipment and then engraved by the machine on the output surface. The production equipment includes a scanner, a copying former and a control block. The original picture is fixed on the drum of the scanner with either adhesive or special clips. A copying former (template) consists of a table where the blank form is fixed on and an electromechanical device equipped with a slotting tool which fixed on a gantry and moves over the blank reproducing the picture by slotting. Design features of the equipment: P1-C: stationary machine, simple design, scanner and copying former are fixed to each other; small size, can be fixed on a table; can be used at homes and small workshops. P2-Y: versatile machine, can be used in both stationary and super-imposing mode when it is installed on the blank; copying former and scanner are connected by an electric cable; image scalling in possible; for industrial use.
