Dynamic Measuring Machine (Malaysia)
Malaysian research institute offers the technology of Dynamic Measuring Machine (DMM) which provides an accurate and convenient means of control over the output of an aluminium wire drawing plant (WDP). It utilizes a sensor feedback system to measure the actual length of aluminium wire being drawn (at operating speeds of between 10 to 30 metres per second) and coiled onto the spinning bobbin. Design considerations were taken to ensure the DMM integrates well with the mechanical system of the WDP.
