Portable Foldable Oven
Taiwan Textile Research Insittute has made a folding oven woven out of soft cloth. Despite its light weight body, the oven can be made hot enough to roast chicken. The oven is built with thin and flexible conductive elements which are woven into the oven;s highly heat- resistant fabric. The oven's internal temperature can exceed 300 degrees without damaging the soft fabric. The oven is designed to be extremely portable. It can be safely and legally carried on an aircraft. However, the requirement of high volatge power supply would make it less suitable in some situations.
