The ultra-filtration membrane technology has very tiny pores of 0.01 microns, which restrict the bacteria and virus from passing through the system thus generating ultra pure water. The National Institute of Virology, Pune has certified the technology as capable of virus rejection. This technology has been successfully demonstrated in the Curca village in Goa, India to supply pathogen-free water to the villagers. The water sources in the Curca village including wells were contaminated due to the seeping of the garbage fluids in the ground, from the garbage disposal site near the village.
