Information Device for Blind People
Present technology consist of image capturing device such as camera along with cap fitted to head of user,computing platform such as laptop or mobile device, data storage which contain reference features of surrounding articles and audiable output module such as speaker or Braille board display. According to present technology image capturing device capture the image of surrounding entities and send to computing platform such as laptop or PC or mobile phone.Feature data storage which contain images of surrounding entities has connected to computing platform. Captured image then comapared with reference images of surrounding entities and surrounding entities are indetified and programe sent to output module such as speaker or braille board display convert this algorithim programe into word form.Present invention consist of navigating image capturing device which takes the snap shot of surrounding area including front view ,Right Top (RT), Front Right (FR), Left Top (LT), Left Bottom (LB) and Right Bottom (RB). The color feature of the captured image extracted by computing platform and converted into algorithmic program. Output module which is connected to computing platform converts this algorithmic program into word form. Whereas exiting technologies consist of only front end image capturing device which do not give to the user a qualitative or semantic description or mental picture of the surroundings around him or traversed by him.
