Our client is keen to find innovative technical devices to reduce water consumption, and have focused on applications where consumers use and therefore potentially waste the most amount of water. They are therefore searching for IP-supported, ideally DISRUPTIVE technology for the following markets:- - Domestic housing / consumer use - Public toilets - Hotel toilets / showers / baths - Schools / offices / social housing water consumption The company is focused on gaining access to products that reduce water consumption, or assist users in monitoring their water consumption. These should be inexpensive devices to modify the following products:- - Taps / faucets - Showers / Baths - Toilets Additionally, we are also interested in new, inexpensive and innovative ways to help recycle water in some way, for example:- - Garden water (collection, storage, usage – plant watering, ponds, pools etc) - Hot water tanks / cylinders / central heating systems - Grey water / black water recycling systems / devices Our client is part of a multi-million UK company specialising in high quality bathroom products. They have access to extensive design and development facilities and are able to source materials, components and products worldwide, so are thus well-placed to bring new products to market as well as providing a platform for boosting sales of existing products. They are now looking to provide a range of water-saving devices to both domestic and commercial users. The company is interested in products for both retro-fitting or new plumbing installations, but devices should be easily fitted by the consumer or a competent plumber. Complicated solutions requiring new plumbing formats are of lesser interest.
