The Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT) of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) organised a regional Expert Group Meeting (EGM) on Innovative Technologies and Applications for Urban Air Pollution Control in Asia and the Pacific on 25 May 2023 virtually.

The EGM shared good case studies of innovative air pollution control technologies successfully implemented in cities across the Asia-Pacific region. Member States shared their experience and good practices in scaling up and adoption of these technologies in cities. 

Participants from Bangladesh, China, India, Nepal, The Philippines, The Republic of Korea, Thailand, Uzbekistan attended the meeting.
